The fuel door doesn't work.
Car: Honda, Civic EX, 2004 - Back to Fix-It - Honda Civic EX Repair Manuals
Q.We just bought a 2004 Civic EX yesterday and today realized that the fuel door doesn't work.
What other common problems may we plan for over the next few years?
We are wondering if it is worth buying the Toyota Platinum 60K/6 yr warranty from Toyota dealer that sold us the car.
Answer it is kind of hard to tell whether you will get your money out of an extended warranty but some common things that may fail are the front lower control arm bushings, struts and sway bar links. Nothing major comes to mind.
When considering any extended warranty remember they are not "bumper to bumper" as they may imply. Wear items and normal maintanence will not be covered.
