Whenever I press in my clutch, my car stalls.
Car: Honda, Prelude, 1997, H22A4 - Back to Fix-It - Honda Prelude Repair Manuals
Q.Hey. I have a 5th gen 1997 Prelude, base model manual. Basically, whenever I press in my clutch, my car stalls.
When I first start the car, i. e. when the engine is cold, I don't have a problem with it, but once it's warmed up, the rpms will start to drop when swiftly when I press in the clutch and eventually it starts cutting out altogether.
From any gear, at any speed, whether in 5th going 80 or 2nd going 20. I've gotten all kinds of theories, but was hoping someone here could give me a better idea. FYI, my engine has a knock(not a terribly bad one I still drive the car), I'm swapping another longblock in next week, but I'd hate to miss this problem because of some overlooked sensor or missed problem.
