How to replace turn signal light 2000 jetta (passenger side). Using a flat screwdriver...try to pop the light cover off. The cover does come off. Pull from the top tab and it should pop off. Once the cover is off...reach inside with your left hand. Do not pull the wires! Locate a knob inside and then turn it counterclockwise. (That is what secures the light to the socket.) You should feel the knob turn. Gently shake it from the socket. Pull the old bulb from the socket and then replace it with a new one. You can get 2 bulbs from AutoZone for 5 bucks. This is a pretty simple job that takes approx 15 mins. Do this yourself and save 80 bucks from the dealership.
