My 1995 Honda Prelude Si has 135000 miles on it and has recently started to use 1 to 1.5 q..

If it has that many miles on it it means that someone has been rodding the shit out of it. I got 156k on my lude and it doesn't burn or leak a bit. If I would say it would be the piston rings are shot. Check to see if there is oil in the antifreeze of vs versa. If there is in either situation ot comes to a cracked block,head or a bad headgasket.
