Yep...the same problem with mine. And just like that other guy it was the gas pedal...when u find it reving high just stick the toe of your shoe under the gas pedal and pull it up...it happens once in a while at cruising high way speeds too.

theres a small hise behind the intake that i think controls the choke. if you remove it the idle jumps up to like 2800. see if it has a leak.
