ok i had the same problem with mine when i first got. it cost me $230 only because my car has 179,000 miles. its a 98, but there is a recall on this. if you have 80,000 or less honda will pay for it. go to your nearest honda dealer and they can fix it for you for free if you only have that many miles. what they do is they open the manifold of the car and take a drill and clean out the egr port. but.....as soon as you get it fixed, you have to have them reset your engine light. because you cant just unhook your battery cables anymore and reset it if its a newer car. if you have any other questions and i didn't explain it well enough email me.
