There are alot about radar detectors people don't know. I'm not talking down to anyone...I have learned alot about them through my need for speed and I find them very intresting. Regardless of what people say, what you pay for is what you get. ESPECIALLY with radar detectors. Escort is a great name. Their Passport 8500 is top of the line. The Valentine One is also a top line product. There is a science behind them. I was a sonar technician on a submarine for four years so I have the physics of them down.
