When should I change the spark plugs?

Car: Chevrolet, Aveo, 2007     -    Back to Fix-It

Q.When should I change the spark plugs and how can I change the spark plugs on a Chevy Aveo 2007. What tools do I need?, what things should i be aware to do in order to do it right. I would like to have the directions an a check list for tools and procedures. I would like also be provided with a tools' cost estimate for first time purchase and an esimate of time need it for a beginner. Thank ou.

and normal hand tools and a spark plug socket is all thats needed

Allow the engine to cool before removing the spark plugs. Attempting to remove spark plugs from a hot engine can cause the spark plugs to seize. This can damage the cylinder head threads.
