Q.what is wrong with my 1996 subaru legacy if it will turnover but will not start?
Answer I would start by checking if the problem is fuel or fire. Take some carb cleaner and spray it into the throttle body. If the car fires for a couple of seconds then you know it is a fuel problem. If not then the problem is spark related. Give his test a try.
