Q.This is my first car. I own 2006 honda accord. ohm shows 15% With B maintenance code.
I guess now it's time for oil change.
My problem is I do not know if I should take it to the dealer or to LMC (there is one near my place). Also what should I expect from oil change?
How do I know if they are using right oil? What questions should I ask them?
Answer Good choice for your first car, you do not have to take your car to a dealer for an oil chage unless you want to and feel more secure, oil change places have come a long way and the wait may not be as long, as long as you are getting a top brand oil filter(napa, carquest, mighty, quaker state, etc: and good oil, most places give you the oil that your car takes, and will also check the air in the tires, lube the doors, hinges and any other points to lube, they will check to see if you need an air filter, check the wiper blades, they do a pretty good job, really, just ask them what type of oil filter do they use also what ty.. >> login for more
