I was first told head gasket is gone
Car: Acura, CL, 2003 - Back to Fix-It - Acura Repair Manuals
Q.Ok, I have an acura 2.3 cl...problem.........no heat, I was first told head gasket is gone. there was no trace of antifreeze in oil, no loss of coolant anywhere. I also had a new therostat put in, I had a new radiator installed last year. I was then told the car still had air in system. I was told to jack up car 24" above heater core. That worked great for about 6 months. Now, I still have the same problem......any thoughts
Answer If it is not overheating while driving then it is likely you have a plugged heater core. But If you are getting air into the system then it is likely you have a bad head gasket.
