Stranded with what appears to be a faulty fuel pump relay - any advice?

Q.My wife is stranded in Longview washington with what appears to be a faulty fuel pump relay any advice?

I already checked/done: Car died friday night and was towed to local independent repair shop who looked at it sat.
The claimed to have checked all fuses but had managed to "unplug what they refered to as fuel pump relay in trunk. They plugged it back in and the car started and ran sat and part of today but then died as my wife was heading out of town. All Data Pro shows a "fuel pump replay" in trunk but all I find listed is a Main relay. My wife has located some relays in the trunk which looks like an illustration I've found for the "main" relay. Any advice<

More Info required this sure sounds like a main fuel relay .
this is located under the dash above the gas pedal.
these fail all the time i can send you a test for the main fuel relay.
