my car is overheating.
Car: Toyota, Camry LE, 1996, 2.2 - Back to Fix-It - Toyota Repair Manuals
Q.my car is overheating. the fans don't go on.
Answer At the radiator fan coolant temperature switch located in the bottom of the radiator, disconnect the switch and check to see if the fans will operate with the key on, they should. With the engine warmed up and running, monitor the radiator temperature. Check the temperature at the inlet side of the radiator and the outlet side of the radiator. The temperatures should be the same all the way across the radiator, if they are the temp switch is bad, the switch is not working. If they are not replace the radiator with a high quality radiator.
