Q.I have a 93 Integra LS 4 door w/air.
Once in a while I have a starting issue when the weather is hot and humid.
When the engine is cold I would try an start it. It would start for about two seconds and then stall.
Then I'm unable to start it I'll let it sit sometimes for an hour and try it again and it's starts with no problem and continues to run. It sounds like a fuel system issue because when I try the restart I get a tach indication but it does not fire up.
Looking forward to fixing this problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.......

They most commonly act up when it's hot, the solder joints crack, and when it gets hot they cracks expand causing the connection to break until it contracts a bit. As long as the check valve in your fuel pump is functioning you'll have enough fuel for a couple seconds of operation without the fuel pump operating.
