Some times the d4 light in dash begins to blink after cranking and the engine wont start
Car: Honda, Accord, 1993 - Back to Fix-It - Honda Accord Repair Manuals
Q.i have a 93 honda accord some times the d4 light in dash begins to blink after cranking the engine and the engine wont start, checked spark at the distributor when light is blinking, no spark.
replaced distributor problem still exists, was told maybee a transmission problem but when driving transmission works fine.
any clues where to look for the problem?
I already checked/done: new distributor
Answer The indicator of D4 is to show there is a problem. I can tell you how to clear this code but I feel you should get the codes for this vehicle and see what it points to as the problem.

Here is how to get the codes from the ECM
92-95 Accord, Civic, Civic Del Sol and Prelude
Retrieving Codes
With ignition off, insert jumper wire in service check connector terminals, located behind right side of dash on Accord, Civic and Civic Del Sol and near center console on Prelude.
Turn ignition switch to ON position. Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) will be indicated by a series of long and short flashes on MIL.
