Shake while braking
Car: Acura, TSX, 2006 - Back to Fix-It - Acura TSX Repair Manuals
Q.I have a 2006 Acura TSX. When I have to apply the brakes quickly, the entire steering wheel shakes. There is also a noise sometimes when I apply the brakes going slowly. What is the problem?
More Info required What type of noise are you hearing - clicking, grinding, squealing, humming, knocking, etc.?
is the vibration you feel in the steering wheel on hard braking occur only at higher speeds or does it also occur on low speed hard braking?
And vibration or kicking back of the brake pedal when this occurs?
Does brake warning light or abs light come on when this occurs or are either of them on all the time?
Please remember that I am unable to be there to test or inspect the vehicle myself, so the more detailed information you provide, the more Acurately I will be able to diagnose the problem.
