Start-up problem
Car: Acura, TL, 2000, 3.2L - Back to Fix-It - Acura TL Repair Manuals
Q.I have a 2000 TL. Every once in a while I'm having a problem at startup. The engine hesitates and runs rough at idle. This may happen through several on/off cycles of the ignition switch. Then it runs fine; strong, full power, no roughness even climbing steep hills. Could this be a fuel filter issue? I've replaced the PCV valve with no change. Other ideas?
I already checked/done: Replaced PCV
Addition The check engine light isn't on at the moment. It had been on briefly but my little code reader couldn't pick up any codes. I canceled the codes and the check engine light hasn't yet reappeared. The TCS light did show briefly. I took it to the Acura dealer to check for possible transmission problem but they found nothing; ATF was full and clean.
