My car bumped against a concrete stop
Car: Honda, Accord, 1997, 4 cylinder - Back to Fix-It - Honda Accord Repair Manuals
Q.I have a 1997 Honda Accord DX. Recently, the car bumped against a concrete stop, and there is now a positive setback in the right front wheel of around 1" (one inch). There is no toe-in or other angular alignment problems - the wheels are perfectly parallel (within normal tolerances of course). Is the setback a real issue?
Answer Hi, This set back will cause a neg. Caster condition in the RF.
This will usually cause the car to pull that direction, but not always.
As far as tire wear, thats not going to be a problem.
