No start - timing belt replaced
Car: Acura, Legend, 1994, 3.2 - Back to Fix-It - Acura Legend Repair Manuals
Q.I have a 1994 Acura Legend. I just replaced the timing belt about two weeks ago it was running fine up until tonight. I even drove it to day. But now it just will not start. It sounds like it wants to.
Answer You would have to confirm if it is sparks, fuel or mechanical that is causing the non starting.
Try some starting fluid in the throttle body and if it starts, it would be fuel that is missing causing the problem. Check the fuel pump, turn ignition switch ON and listen for fuel pump operation in tank. It should whirr for about 2 seconds. If fuel pump does not seem to work. Check the PGM-FI main relay for power supply to fuel pump.
