where i can find the IAT sensor.

Q.i have a 06 jetta 2.5l 5cylinder can you tell me where i can find the IAT sensor. i bought at performance chip and i have to wire at that sensor. thank you.
Answer The intake air temp sensor should be on the intake duct coming off the engine cover near the core support and if it isn't there it is part of the mass airflow sensor if you give me your vin number I will check the wiring diagrams to be sure. It is right on the top easy to see.
If your "chip" is one of those inexpensive devises that tries to trick the car into thinking that it is colder than should be to add more fuel I can tell you now you are not going to see any gains the fuel software and oxygen sensors are too smart it is going to adjust the air fuel ratio right back to where it needs to be or you will get a check eng.. >> login for more
