I am trying to replace the left rear strut.
Car: Honda, S2000, 2006, 6 cylinder - Back to Fix-It - Honda S2000 Repair Manuals
Q.I am trying to replace the left rear strut. Instructions say to lower the axle. I have it up on a jack. How do I get it any lower?
I already checked/done: I tried to compress the springs. It seems too long. I got the part from Honda so it should be the right part.
Answer You should just be able to push down on the rotor and the lower control arm will move down far enough for you to get the strut out.
