Front hub/bearing assembly on a 2005 prius

Q.How do you remove the hub/bearing assembly from the steering knuckle on a 2005 prius front? I tried to press it out to no avail.
Answer You will have to improvise if you do not have the special service tools shown:

FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
REPLACEMENT
HINT: Refer to components. Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side. The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB LH NUT SST 09930-00010
SEPARATE SPEED SENSOR FRONT LH
SEPARATE FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH
Remove the 2 bolts and separate the front disc brake caliper assembly LH from the steering knuckle. NOTICE: Hang down the front disc brake caliper assembly LH with a wire or such.
