95 JETTA III no crank when turn key, alarm light will turn on

Q.95 JETTA III no crank when turn key alarm light will turn on and after 3 or 4 trys alarm will activate.
tried new module no go check almost everything in alldata squematics and troubleshoting but nothing i allready test for opens and shorts, or did i? thanks.

Answer Try unlocking the driver door with the ignition key twice, than open the door and get in and try to start it.
If that doesn't work the driver door disarm switch may be faulty, try unlocking the trunk twice with the key. If the alarm still stays armed, there may be a fault in the system, below is some great information on trouble shooting these pesky mk3 alarm systems.
