Right headlight is not working high or low beam.

Car: Jeep, Liberty, 2004     -    Back to Fix-It    -    Jeep Liberty Repair Manuals

Q.2004 Jeep Liberty right headlight not working high or low beam.
Interior right turn indicator arrow stays on when lights are in on position.
When signaling right turn with lights on front right amber lights flash but very faint.
Signals work fine when headlights in off position. Have checked all fuses and replaced headlight bulb.
Any suggestions?

I already checked/done: Inspected all fuses and swapped out all those that manual and/or repair manual wiring diagram indicate as being linked to headlights. Replaced bulb and checked to make certain that new bulb was functioning properly when installed on drivers side.
Passenger side headlight still not working. When lights are in on position interior right turn indicator stays illuminated green.

AnswerIt sounds as though you have lost the ground to the right side, The ground is the black wire with the white tracer in pin 2 of the head lamp connector, this wire runs back into the harness and comes to a splice (S131) at this splice the park, turn signals and fog lights (if equipped) join together and then go to ground
There is an intermediate connector in the circuit before the final ground (C106) this connector is under the left front headlight and is rectangular in shape and is a 14 pin connector and the ground wire is in pin 14
The problem should be in between these two connectors, if it was on the body side in between .. >> login for more
