Heater not working
Car: Acura, TL, 1996 - Back to Fix-It - Acura TL Repair Manuals
Q.1996 acura tl, runs woderfully except winter when foot not on gas, blowing air is cold ie:stop signs, taffic lights etc. car has 197,000 miles but otherwise is great. can't get heat to on temperature from being parked. not good when i come out of work and its ice covered,[live in nh] dealer tries to blow out system but it only holds for a week. they've given up. can you help???
I already checked/done: blowing out radiater system
More Info required this sounds like the cooling system has a air pocket in the heater core.
when the cooling system is not bleed correctly this will happen and i have seen several of these come into the dealer for the same problem.
so i would double check the cooling system and make sure it's full and i would also try and bleed the system to purge the air out of the system.
you mentioned the dealer blowed out something what was this that they did ?
