Q.My hand brake will not disengage. The handle will go down and brake light still stays on. I put in 1st gear and car will not move. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Answer AJ,
There could be a couple reasons for frozen e-brake.
1. Your e-brake cables frozen - either replace the cables or un-freze them with diesel fuel or kerosine.
2. Your rear brakes need to be checked and mechanical parts greased properly.
Either way your car needs help of qualified mechanic.
If I'll find more info -I'll be posting it soon!
