After installing new battery in 4 days ca needs to be jumped
Car: Honda, Accord, 1998, 4 cylinder - Back to Fix-It - Honda Accord Repair Manuals
Q.98 Honda Accord started okay after installing new battery. After 4 days of use the car needed to be jumped.
Autozone checked alternator and battery, said both were good. Suggested mechanic to test electrical issues. Any ideas.
Answer OK I would have the alternator checked again in the car under a load with lights a/c on radio etc this will give you a correct reading if the alternator is actually working probperly, if its still ok then there can be a draw killin the battery overnight, alarm bad door switch clock radio etc but I would have the alternator checked again first also make sure the belt and the connections to the alternator is good.
