Mechanic mistakenly drained transmission fluid instead of oil in my 2004 Subaru Outback.

Q.Mechanic mistakenly drained transmission fluid instead of oil in my 2004 Subaru Outback.
Replaced transmision fluid with Valvoline MaxLife Transmission Stop Leak. I do not believe the filter was changed. Should I have the transmission replaced?
More Info required HI there! Are you having any problems with the transmission? Is the AT temp light flashing on startup?
