Is their any way to declog a heater core in a 95 acura legend?
Car: Acura, Legend, 1995, 3.2L - Back to Fix-It - Acura Legend Repair Manuals
Q.Is their any way to declog a heater core in a 95 acura legend. My current mechanic claims it will take him an hour to do it without removing the heater core. I would assume he would disconnect the 2 hoses going into the heater core to do it.
Am I correct or am I just wasting my money.
I already checked/done: Radiator was replaced as well as thermostat. Warm air comes through the vent. This is also a new engine that was put in. The car was bleed properly but the mechanic who put the engine said the heater core is clogged.
Answer Your are correct. Sometimes they can be back flushed and remedy this problem. I have done this before.
Is you heater simply not getting hot enough?
