Q.i have been having idle issues where the car does not idle, it just dies. By this i mean it starts up, i drive around but when i come to the stop sign or light and stop, instead of idling at 1k it drops and dies. Any ideas? I have replaced the battery spark plugs and wires, removed and cleaned the iacv.
I already checked/done: battery, spark plugs, wires, cleaned iacv...
Answer cleaning the iac does not usually cut it. If the idle drop is not fixed after the cleaning then it is likely the Iac is actually faulty and not working properly. You are going to need to replace the IAC as it is likely not functioning properly
