How do I get iPod to work please?

Q.I have a 2007 vw golf match with an ipod dock. How do I get it to work please?

Answer You have to turn the Ipod on, select a song or album, and then hit play.
Once it begins playing you should be able to dock it, a VW logo should show up on the screen, and you should now be able to hit the cd button once or twice on the stereo and get it to play. If it doesn't play you may have a faulty harness for your Ipod which would be covered under your warranty.
I don't know what the warranty is for Europe but in the US it is the bumper to bumper 50,000 mile.
