Check engine light, traction control..
Car: Acura, TL, 1999, 3.2 - Back to Fix-It - Acura TL Repair Manuals
Q.99 Acura TL 3.2, 159K miles. Just had dealer repair minor oil leak behind front engine cover and cam shaft seal, and had timing belt and and water pump replaced. 1 day later check engine light has been going on and off. Also, traction control system light has also briefly come on together with check engine light (though not every time the check engine light comes on) even though it does not feel like the traction control system is engaging. Did this new problem result from something the dealer did during the repair? What do you recommend.
More Info required the first step here is to get the codes from the system.
auto zone and advanced auto parts will do this for free.
let me know what codes they retrieve so we can continue.
