Steering wheel set will not engage..

Q.I have a 91 Accord EX...The cruise control button turns on bur the steering wheel set will not engage it..help.
Answer The most common cause for this problem would be a out of adjustment brake pedal or brake switch. For manual trans, the clutch peadal switch could be the cause as well.
Check the pdedal to switch free play. If excessive, readjust and retest.
