Loud pitched squeel ...
Car: Honda, Civic EX, 2004, 1600cc - Back to Fix-It - Honda Civic EX Repair Manuals
Q.2004 Honda Civic 1.6 EX Automatic (20k miles) Loud pitched squeel audible several miles into a journey. Seems to ease if footbrake is applied or car comes to a halt. Brake pads have been examined and have plenty of wear left. Can you help please?

I already checked/done: Had brakepads checked
Answer You need to have the brakes recheckes by another shop, most likely one of the brake wear sensors on the inner pads is hitting the brake rotor causing the noise.
